Light Up A Child's Life 2009, Erie

Star 104's Craig Warvel interviews wish kid Abbey about her Disney World wish. Students from Edinboro University's Inter-Fraternity Council tell Star 104's Jessica Curry how they raised $3,400 during their annual Date Auction to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Erie staff members Jan Stork and Sara Hunter pose with wish kid Austin Pierce and Star 104's Dave Dawson. Two Erie wish kids came to talk on Star 104 during the campaign -- Kacey is on the left and Beckie is on the right. Kacey's wish for a Caribbean cruise was granted in 2005, and Beckie's Hawaii wish was fulfilled this past year. Wish kid Luke, with his mom looking on, tell his Disney World wish story to Star 104's Dave Dawson.
Students from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College's Resident Service Leaders program held an event entitled, Students from Perry Elementary presented a generous donation during Erie's LUACL campaign. They are pictured with their teacher, Mr. Dan Scully. Wish kid Brayden, with help from his mom and sister, share his wish story with Star 104's Dave Dawson.
