Kids from the Make-A-Wish Club at Nazareth Area Middle School in Northampton County conducted a bake sale to benefit the Foundation for Valentine's Day. Nazareth Area Middle School Make-A-Wish Club students organized a whistling record event on May 27, 2011, to raise funds for the Foundation.  The Nazareth Area Middle School student body  broke a Guinness World Record for the most people whistling simultaneously at a single venue. “It feels really good to reach the goal,” said Monique Ohrwashel, adviser of the student-run Make-A-Wish Club, told the Express Times. “It feels rewarding to finally get the certificate and have it be accomplished.
Lehigh Valley-area veterans joined the 750 seventh- and eighth-graders to whistle The Nazareth Area High School Wind Ensemble joined in the event. Cameron Ohrwashel, president of the Make-A-Wish Club at Nazareth Area Middle School, proudly holds up the official certificate from Guiness World Records.
