Nathaniel Has a Blast on His Nickelodeon Cruise

Fun-loving Nathaniel spends his winter afternoons watching his favorite sports team, the Dallas Cowboys, tackle on the field while munching on his favorite food - nachos, of course! Even though he loves to watch football at home, he had always dreamed of escaping to a warmer destination where he could not only enjoy fun in the sun, but also meet some of his favorite television stars. So, when Nathaniel's Make-A-Wish volunteers asked for his most heartfelt wish, he wished to go on a Nickelodeon Cruise with his family!

This past August, Nathaniel traveled with his family from their home in Allentown, PA, to Florida to begin his wish. The giant character cruise ship left from the shores of the sunshine state, where he and his family stayed for one night in the Hyatt Hotel right on the sandy coast. He and his brother were quite excited to board the ship, where they could swim, splash, and slide in the many pools on deck as well as dine at any of the cafés and restaurants. While on board, Nathaniel met many characters, including Dora the Explorer and her cousin Diego.

Nathaniel also stopped in many exotic locations along the way, including the islands of the Bahamas, where they soaked plenty of fun and sun and enjoyed the beaches, too. To remember his trip, he left with loads of photographs and an armful of souvenirs. When he and his family returned, Nathaniel's mom said, "We have memories to last a lifetime!" They will surely never forget the time they shared together slashing, sunning, and having tons of fun!
